University of California at Davis (UC Davis) and the City of Sacramento proudly announce the completion of the 2024 Voluntary Local Review (VLR) on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for the City of Sacramento. This VLR maps Sacramento’s 2040 General Plan and Climate Action & Adaptation Plan to all 17 SDGs and its underlying principles. Additionally, it demonstrates that long-range city planning provides a unique opportunity to connect shared local and global goals, and that university-city partnerships can play an important role in this effort.
