Discover how youth leadership and innovation can contribute to addressing global climate change and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by joining our upcoming webinar series titled "Fostering Youth-Led Innovation for the SDGs." Produced in partnership between the Entrepreneurship and Environment at the University of Waterloo and Centre for Sustainable Development at Columbia University, this series will explore ‘how’ and ‘why’ transformative approaches to education can be used as a vehicle for empowering young people to drive the type of innovations and entrepreneurial ventures that are necessary to drive progress on the 2030 agenda.

Key Takeaways from the SDSN USA Network Update Meeting

On May 6th, 2022, SDSN USA held a virtual Network Update Meeting, convening network members, partner organizations, and potential members for two hours. The meeting included network updates from SDSN USA staff and co-chairs Helen Bond (Howard University), Dan Esty (Yale University), Gordon McCord (UC San Diego), and Jeffrey Sachs (Columbia University), as well as a discussion of SDSN USA network activities.

SDSN USA Network Members Share Their Research at Hispanic Heritage Month Research Panel

This Hispanic Heritage Month, SDSN USA and We Are All Human Foundation co-hosted a research panel webinar with presentations from SDSN USA members on important Hispanic related research being done throughout the country. The event highlighted research on a range of topics across the SDGs, including localized delivery and tracking of the SDGs in cities, efforts to deliver the COVID-19 vaccine and other public health research to underserved communities, and internalized belonging for first-generation students.

The Path Forward for SDGs in the US: Key Takeaways from the SDSN USA 2021 Network Meeting

The United States Chapter of Sustainable Development Solutions Network, SDSN USA, held its annual Network Meeting on February 18-19, 2021. Throughout the two-day event, network members, partner organizations, and potential members convened virtually to receive updates on SDSN and SDSN USA initiatives, and to collaborate on solutions to the sustainable development challenges facing the US in the years ahead.
