Soazig Le Bihan is Professor of Philosophy and Co-Director of Graduate Studies in Environmental Philosophy at the University of Montana. Her research focuses on scientific understanding, the relationships between science, values, and democracy, especially in the context of ecology and conservation science. In both her research and teaching, she is committed to steer away from philosophy as an exercise in isolated reflection and promote engaged philosophy instead, through which philosophy informs and wrestles with real-world, complex problems within and beyond academia.
